Jane’s Combat Simulations - Fleet Command

Jane's Combat Simulations - Fleet Command
Fleet Command (FC), also known as Jane’s Fleet Command, is a real-time tactics naval warfare simulation computer game released in 1999. It was developed by Sonalysts Inc. and published by Electronic Arts (EA). The game licensed parts of Jane’s Information Group’s military information database, which was used as an in-game “Jane’s Library”; reference material the player could refer to while in-game. Jane’s also licensed to EA the “Jane’s” name and the “Jane’s Combat Simulations” logo, and the game was marketed under the “Jane’s” name, much like the previous “Jane’s Fighters Anthology”, also published by Electronic Arts. However, the copyright that appears on the CD and in the documentation shows that the actual name of the work is, in fact, “Fleet Command”, as does the name of the Windows executable that is at the core of the game.

This installment of the long-running RPG series Might and Magic takes place in a world called Erathia. Humans and elves are waging war, conquering more and more land for their kingdoms, but one area of dispute remains - a small town called Harmondale. Your party earns the title of a lord in this town, winning it in a scavenger hunt. Now, as the rulers of the town, you’ll have to choose whether to side with the elves or with the humans, taking quests from either of them to strengthen your bonds.

“Might and Magic VII” plays similarly to the previous installments of the series, being a party-based 3D RPG with first-person view. As before, you can alternate between turn-based and real time combat styles at any time during the battle. In the previous game, your party members could be humans only, and some of the classes were removed; “Might and Magic VII” allows you to choose between humans, elves, dwarves, and goblins, and brings back the character classes that were featured in earlier games.
