Personal Chess Trainer + Chessimo:
PCT is a very good training tool. With it you are going to learn the most common chess pattern with respect to tactics, endgame (commented endgames in PCT2007), strategy and openings (PCT2007). I also include the older version (PCT 2.0.29) because I am not sure if the exercises differ somehow.
Update: 23.06.2008
It seems that PCT has been renamed to Chessimo. As far as I can tell the version 3.02 and Chessimo are identical although the GUI/Languages are a bit improved. To unlock Chessimo download it from the appropriate site and download here the version 3.02. Follow then the instructions in the readme file.
